Hi there! I’m Emily, originally from Hong Kong, and I’ve called Thailand home for over a decade. What began as a part-time gig during my student years—guiding travelers from around the world—evolved into DeepDayTrip, my passion project based in Phuket.
As a tour guide, I fell in love with sharing Thailand’s beauty and culture with visitors. The connections I made and the encouragement from guests inspired me to turn this side hustle into a small business. Phuket became my starting point—a place I’ve returned to countless times and deeply adore.
Today, DeepDayTrip isn’t just a venture; it’s a lifeline that allows me and my mother to thrive in the place we love most. While still modest in scale, it brings us joy, stability, and the freedom to embrace island life.
